PART 2 — THE SECRET IDENTITY

The bishop opened the ceremony.

Nathaniel tried to recover.

Tried to regain control.

But Isabella suddenly raised one hand.

"I object."

The cathedral exploded with murmurs.

Margaret jumped to her feet.

"What nonsense is this?"

Isabella slowly removed a small gold insignia hidden beneath her sleeve.

The royal crest of Cordovia.

The entire front row froze.

The bishop immediately bowed.

Every royal guard snapped to attention.

Nathaniel stared.

"What is that?"

Isabella looked at him almost sadly.

"My real identity."

A giant screen behind the altar suddenly illuminated.

Photos appeared.

Official state ceremonies.

Diplomatic meetings.

International summits.

And in every image stood Isabella.

Not as a student.

Not as a poor girl.

But as Crown Princess Isabella of Cordovia.

The heir to one of the wealthiest royal families on earth.

The room erupted.

Margaret nearly dropped her purse.

Vivien's face drained of color.

Nathaniel shook his head.

"No..."

A royal advisor stepped forward.

"Her Royal Highness concealed her identity while searching for a genuine life partner."

The screen changed.

Now came screenshots.

Texts.

Messages.

Bank records.

Photos.

Nathaniel's conversations with Vivien.

His insults.

His lies.

His plan to marry Isabella only to unlock his trust fund.

The cathedral fell silent.

Every word appeared on the screen.

Every betrayal.

Every humiliation.

Every cruel joke.

Nathaniel's face turned white.

Vivien looked ready to faint.

Then Isabella delivered the final blow.

"I loved you."

The room became completely still.

"I would have given you my heart."

Tears appeared in Nathaniel's eyes.

For a brief second.

Too late.

"But you wanted my value."

She turned away.

"And now you get neither."

The wedding was over.

Before it had even begun.
