Faced with overwhelming evidence of financial fraud, infidelity, and corporate malfeasance, Dylan’s high-priced legal team advised him against a protracted courtroom battle. Within three months, the settlement was finalized.
The Winnetka estate was signed over entirely to Haley’s irrevocable trust, managed by me. Vance Technologies was placed under a restructuring board, with Dylan forced out of leadership entirely, his remaining shares heavily diluted to cover restitution fees.
And Sierra?
True to my prediction, the moment Dylan’s corporate empire collapsed, his liquid accounts were frozen by court order, and he could no longer maintain the lavish lifestyle he had custom-built for her, Sierra’s loyalty vanished like morning mist.
According to private investigator reports Marcus quietly leaked to me out of lingering guilt, Sierra packed up her bags and moved out of the Winnetka mansion within two weeks of Dylan’s suspension, filing a restraining order against him for "financial misrepresentation and emotional distress."
Ryan didn't call his "Uncle Dylan" anymore. To a seven-year-old child who had been manipulated by an ambitious mother, Dylan was simply a prop that had expired its utility.
