PART 2 — The Video

Alexander couldn’t move.

His eyes were fixed on his mother.

The woman who had sacrificed everything for him.

The woman who raised him when they had nothing.

Now she was unconscious on the cold marble floor.

“Call an ambulance!” he shouted.

The guards moved instantly.

But Alexander barely heard them.

His entire world had narrowed down to one question.

Who did this?

The head guard, Marcus, stood beside him holding the tablet.

His face was serious.

“Sir… before you look at this, prepare yourself.”

Alexander looked up.

“What is it?”

Marcus swallowed.

“The security cameras captured everything.”

Alexander grabbed the tablet.

The video began.

At first, he saw his mother walking up the stairs.

Slowly.

Alone.

Then Victoria appeared.

The two women spoke.

Alexander watched silently.

At first, he thought it was just an argument.

Until he heard Victoria’s words.

“You don’t belong here anymore.”

His expression changed.

Then came the final seconds.

Victoria looked around.

Made sure no one was watching.

And pushed his mother.

Alexander stopped breathing.

“No…”

He replayed it.

Again.

And again.

But the truth remained.

Victoria had done it.

The woman he planned to marry.

The woman he trusted.

The woman he believed loved him.

Had tried to destroy his mother.

A voice came from behind him.

“Alexander?”

Victoria appeared.

Her face was filled with fake concern.

“I heard something happened. Is your mother okay?”

Alexander slowly turned.

He looked at her differently.

Not with love.

Not with affection.

Only disbelief.

“You pushed her.”

Victoria froze.

“What?”

“You pushed my mother down those stairs.”

Her face changed for a second.

Then she laughed nervously.

“Alexander, you’re confused. Why would I ever do that?”

Marcus stepped forward.

“We have the footage.”

The color drained from Victoria’s face.

For the first time…

She looked afraid.

But Alexander wasn’t finished.

Because another detail in the video had caught his attention.

Something Victoria said before the attack.

Something that made no sense.

“You said my mother was in your way.”

Victoria looked away.

And Alexander realized…

May you like

This wasn’t about anger.

This was planned.
