The construction company involved in the renovation had another connection.

Not my Victor.

But the company had been recommended by Brandon’s business associate.
The pattern became clear.
They were going to renovate the house using my credit.
Then borrow against the increased value.
Then move the money.
By the time I noticed, I would be responsible.
